CBRE turns to AJ Products for a reliable solution

Real estate giant CBRE was looking for a supplier who could provide the finishing touches to their customer’s call centre after the previous vendor fell short of expectations and was unable to supply the required products. The customer was the Post Office and CBRE was outfitting their foreign currency exchange call centre in Bristol, which was desperately awaiting a solution to what should have been an easily-resolved problem.

Challenge

When CBRE came to AJ Products their customer had been let down by a previous supplier and had been waiting over 18 months for a solution to their problem. The Post Office was looking for 66 return screens for their call centre to improve acoustics and separate individual workspaces. The new return screens, designed to fit to the short side of each desk, had to match the existing desk screens, which featured aluminium edging and a distinctive red fabric. Furthermore, because the call centre has bench desking fixed together in rows, the screens would need specialist brackets to fix them between each workspace without drilling into the desktops.

Solution

Within two working days of receiving the request from CBRE, AJ’s sales representative visited the site to understand the situation. We then utilised our network of suppliers to source the exact model of screen required. The result was a perfect colour match in the correct size to fit the desks with fixings to allow simple installation onto bench desks.

Result

In mid-January 2019 a sample screen was approved by the customer and the full order was placed for production. The screens were then made to order in the custom fabric colour. The order was delivered in mid-February and installed by AJ Products on the same day with minimal disruption to the call-centre staff who were able to continue to work during installation.

The Post Office was really pleased with the results.
