Room for community and recovery at Rejmes

Together is better!

Considering how much time employees spend at work, Rejmes wanted to create a welcoming shared space where staff could recharge and feel at home. The goal was to strengthen the sense of community among teams from sales, the workshop and the office, enhancing overall well-being. By designing functional and inviting common areas, employees from all departments would have the chance to connect and relax during breaks and meals.

A large space with functional zones

Transforming the large lunchroom into an inviting space was achieved by creating multiple zones. Using sound-absorbing room dividers, the area was split into a dining space and a cosy lounge area. Multifunctional furniture helped reduce noise while maximizing space and warm yellow dividers, topped with greenery, added a welcoming touch. Additionally, a spacious meeting room with a “room within a room” setup met the need for a comfortable, communal gathering area.

Furnishes for flexible meetings

Rejmes needed adaptable furniture for their large conference room. AJ Product’s solution was a set of tables that can be rearranged into a large conference table or split into smaller groups. The tables are easy to fold and store, making space for additional seating when needed, such as for large briefings. Extra chairs are also available for flexibility.

Communication in meeting rooms

The two meeting rooms feature boat-shaped tables, promoting eye contact and active participation from all attendees. This design aligns with Rejmes' vision of fostering community and well-being at work. A movable whiteboard adds flexibility, while the warm gray tones in the room create a calm, distraction-free environment.

Consistent Style

During planning meetings between Rejmes and AJ Products, it was clear that both design and function were very important. AJ Product’s team ensured this by creating a cohesive color scheme throughout the rooms, with gray tones complemented by warm yellow and greenery. The adaptable furniture design allowed for easy rearrangement while maintaining a consistent style.
