Rather than being pushed against the wall in neat rows, CREATE lockers are designed to be placed anywhere in the room. “When someone enters, they don’t see a strict line - they see a softer, more inviting shape,” explains designer Cecilia Stööp. The cabinets come in three different heights and can be freely combined to create open, varied layouts that reflect the space and its users.
Innovative locker designs for modern needs
From the outset, CREATE was developed with the user in mind. Cecilia visited workplaces, gyms, schools, and salons to observe how people interact with their lockers and understand what was missing. “People often struggle to fit everything in; bags, shoes, cycling helmets, even a winter coat. So we designed larger compartments and new storage options to make sure everything fits comfortably,” she says.
One standout feature is the flexible interior layout. Lockers can be equipped with shelves, trays and compartments tailored to individual needs. You might add an extra shelf to separate shoes from a handbag, or a small tray to hold keys, chewing gum, or a watch, ideal for children and adults alike. Moreover, all shelving is perforated to allow visibility from below, helping you avoid forgotten items.

The interior can be adjusted over time, with shelves and accessories that can be repositioned to suit different users or purposes. “Everyone is different,” says Cecilia. “Whether you’re tall or short, your locker should work for you, not the other way around.”
