A cam lock with electronic code operation for use with the Elite locker range. The lock has two separate operating modes. You can set it to single user mode or multiple user mode. Single user mode allows one code to be set, which can then be used to open the lock each time. This is a suitable option for workplace or school lockers, which will have one user for an extended period. Alternatively, multiple user mode allows the user to input a different code on each use: a new code is set in the unlocked position, the handle is set to lock and the same code is used to reopen it, the next user will then set a new passcode (much like a hotel safe). This is a popular choice for gym lockers or lockers in other public areas.
The lock has a master code in case of the need for override and also gives the ability to set a service code (which gives access to the locker but does not allow the code to be reset).
The code lock gives LED and audio warnings to indicate password accepted or incorrect, low battery and lock left open. The lock operates on a battery with 10 year life.
The lock can be retrofitted.
