Table PAX

In school environments, there are lots of things happening that can lead to high levels of noise and clatter. This leads to poor concentration and efficiency among both students and staff. With the right furniture, it is possible, however, to optimise the room and create a more pleasant working environment. The Pax table with its unique sound-dampening and sound-absorbent properties is an excellent option, both for the classroom and the canteen.

The surface of the table top which is made of noise-reducing linoleum, is scratch resistant and easy to clean. Linoleum is made from natural, renewable raw materials. In comparison with competing materials, it produces low carbon emissions. The linoleum we use carries the Nordic Swan ecolabel and has excellent noise-reducing properties. The table top has a built-in sound absorber underneath. It effectively reduces scraping noises from chairs and feet for example.

The round student desk allows eye contact between all those sitting around it and makes it easier to have a conversation. Nobody needs to feel left out at the end of the table. Another advantage of round tables is that they can accommodate a relatively large number of people. The Pax table has a lacquered steel frame with legs made of sturdy, round tubing.
