The unit's end frames are made of laminate. The shelves are made of white-lacquered steel shelves and have raised, rear edges. This lets you turn the shelves around and use them as slanting shelves for newspapers or magazines for example.
Underneath each shelf there is a rail on which you can place hanging bookends on wheels and then move the bookends along the shelves without removing them.
Combine this basic unit with add-on sections that allow you to extend your shelving depending on your needs.
