The table top has a linoleum surface made from natural and renewable raw materials. Linoleum has a small carbon footprint when compared with competing sound damping materials. The linoleum used for the student desk 180 carries the Nordic Eco label.

The frame is made of epoxy powder-coated tubular steel and fitted with a brace between the legs for extra stability. The frame is arched at the bottom, which makes it easier to clean the floor. There are two practical hooks on the short sides of the frame where the student can hang backpacks, bags or other items right next to their seats.
