Why use workplace mats?

A mat is so much more than just a smart furnishing detail and can have many functions. A right mat at the right place contributes to a safe workplace and prevents strain injuries. Mats for a safer workplace

Different workplaces have different flooring requirements. Apart from protecting the body and floor, a mat can contribute to different functions that increase safety.

In workshop and warehouse settings, mats must be kept clean and they must also withstand oil, fat and chemical spills. In wet areas and changing rooms, mats with slip protection and drainage are required, that are easy to keep clean. When a mat is placed at an entrance, the mats should be able to withstand dirt and moisture, protect the floor and give a good first impression to visitors.
