Pricing & Payment
All prices are in GBP. All of our prices are shown excluding VAT as default. It is possible to see the prices with VAT included on our website by clicking the "Change" button underneath "Go to basket". We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. In the event that a product is listed with an incorrect price or incorrect information due to typographical error or to incorrect information received from our suppliers, AJ Products (UK) Ltd. has the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for that product.
2. Payment methods
We welcome payment by credit card, debit card and purchase card. We accept all major credit and debit cards with the exception of American Express. Alternatively, if you are purchasing on behalf of a limited company you can opt for an invoice (subject to conditions, see #3). Payment can also be made in advance by BACS. Should you wish to receive a pro forma invoice please contact us. We also offer a leasing option for business purchases over £1000 (see #4). We no longer accept payment by cheque. AJ Products reserves the right to ask for an alternative method of payment for any order.
3. Credit accounts
Limited companies can choose to open a credit account with us and pay by invoice. When applying for a credit account, we will ask you to fill in a credit application and then a credit check will be done to ensure that we can offer you credit based on the records of the Credit Protection Association. AJ Products (UK) Ltd. has the right to refuse credit to any customer and ask for payment or part-payment in advance if necessary. Once your goods have delivered, you will receive an invoice from us with payment terms of 30 days from date of invoice. If the invoice remains unpaid after the due date, we reserve the right to charge interest on arrears at 2% above the current lending rate of Danske Bank at the time as well as a £25.00 administration fee. We reserve the right to suspend a credit account at any time owing to overdue payment. We also reserve the right to deliver goods Cash on Delivery.
Invoices will be sent by email to the invoice email address provided. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure a correct accounts email address is provided. The customer must inform us at the time of order if invoices cannot be accepted by email. Any amendments to the invoice owing to the customer providing incorrect information and requested after the invoice has been issued will incur a £25.00 administration fee (ex. VAT).
AJ Products in partnership with Kennet Equipment Leasing offers leasing as a payment option for our goods when purchased by a business. We can lend to businesses of all types including partnerships, sole traders, mobile workers and start-ups (dependant on credit check). Finance leases are available from £1000 to £1,000,000 with lease terms of between 24 and 60 months. No upfront payment required. Repayment will be a fixed monthly payment with a fixed interest rate that will not change throughout the duration of the lease. All lease payments are tax deductible. At the end of your lease, you can choose to keep, return or upgrade the goods. In order to apply for a lease, please contact AJ Products. You will be asked some basic background questions about the company and your trading history. Kennet Equipment Leasing will perform a soft credit search that is not visible on your credit report. You will receive an approval decision within a maximum of 48 hours. Once you have signed a lease contract, your agreement with Kennet Equipment Leasing will supersede AJ Products’ Terms and Conditions of Sale.
5. Order processing and confirmation
AJ Products (UK) Ltd. will confirm your order in writing to the e-mail address supplied. Orders are processed manually by our customer service team and an order confirmation will be sent within 24 hours. Orders containing a request for a new credit account may take longer. Orders placed on weekends or bank holidays will be processed on the next working day. We ask that you please check your order confirmation for any errors and inform us as soon as possible should any corrections be necessary. Please note that neither the processing of a payment nor the receipt of an order confirmation constitutes a legally binding contract. We reserve the right to cancel an order at any point prior to invoice. Should the need to cancel an order arise, AJ Products (UK) Ltd. will communicate this to the customer in writing.
6. Promotional codes
If you have a valid promotional code, you can enter this code when you get to the Checkout page when placing your order. Each promotional code has its own time constraints and conditions. Promotional codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer (including discounted prices and package deals). Only promotional codes as advertised on ajproducts.co.uk or on direct marketing from AJ Products (UK) Ltd. are valid; codes available on third party websites may not be valid. If you are experiencing any problems entering your promotional code, please do not hesitate to contact us.

AJ Products (UK) Ltd. retains full title to the goods until payment in full has been received.
9. Payment Security
Your online payment is secured by Barclays Bank Plc. using payment services from Nets (http://www.nets.eu). Nets systems are certified by VISA and MasterCard to provide secure payment transactions in accordance with PCI DSS. All communications between the online store and your bank are handled by Nets and encrypted via SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). Payment is made on a secure payment page with an address that begins with https:// and with a padlock confirming that the data is secure. AJ Products (UK) Ltd. therefore does not have access at any time to your card information and cannot record or store your card details.
