A sturdy tipping skip for efficient sorting and handling of various waste types. It is fitted with a high cover to maximise the internal volume and protect and retain the contents. One side of the lid has two small doors with handles and the other side has a large hatch for efficient emptying. The container is made of heavy-duty, fully-welded sheet steel with a powder-coated finish. The powder coating provides a resilient, hard-wearing finish for high resistance to external influences.
The tipping skip is built for use with forklift trucks and can withstand heavy-duty truck handling. The tipping and emptying mechanisms are activated when the front of the skip engages with a larger skip so that the pressure plate at the front is depressed. This provides increased safety as the tipping skip cannot slide off the truck's forks due to it being pressed against the large refuse skip. As soon as the pressure plate is released, the tipping skip returns to its original position. It should be full for best emptying results. Add castors, fork locking and other functional accessories for an optimised solution.
